Part 5: Development 101 – Your Toolbox
By now, you’ve got your outline, world, and characters in place. But what ties it all together? The development process isn’t linear – it’s iterative. You’ll constantly go back to tweak your outline, adjust character motivations, and flesh out your world as new ideas pop up. That’s the beauty of development!

Why Every Part Matters
Your outline gives structure, world-building sets the stage, and character development brings it to life. But it’s the combination of all three – refined over multiple drafts – that makes a truly standout script. Development is where you find the connections between all these elements and strengthen them until your story shines.
Tip: Don’t be afraid to take a step back during development. Sometimes, the best ideas come when you’re not actively working on your script. Let your subconscious do some heavy lifting.
Pun Alert: Development is like baking – it takes time, but the results are oh-so-sweet!
